City Club Announces Winner of Conversation Award

The Purchase of Remaining Miller Tree Farm Property

The developers of NorthWest Crossing announced today that they have purchased 245 acres from the Miller family. The property, which was included in the recent expansion of the Bend Urban Growth Boundary, is bordered by William E. Miller Elementary and NorthWest Crossing to the east and the newly developed Tree Farm neighborhood to the west. Settlement Reached in Tree Farm LUBA Appeal

Brooks Resources Promotes Two Long-Time Employees

Brooks Resources Corporation today announced that Jade Mayer has been promoted to vice president and Valerie Yost has been promoted to director of marketing. Jade Mayer joined Brooks Resources in 1999 as corporate controller and was promoted to chief financial officer in 2003. He will continue to serve as CFO along with his new role as vice president.
