In honor of Women’s History Month, Brooks Resources is proud to highlight Discovery West, our women-centric neighborhood development. As part of this initiative, we have named the streets within the community after inspiring Women of Discovery—trailblazers who have made significant contributions across fields such as science, medicine, astronomy, exploration, and beyond. Their remarkable achievements continue to shape the world, leaving a lasting legacy that inspires future generations of girls and women.
As the development has evolved, we have invited several talented women artists to showcase their work through art installations throughout the neighborhood. These include the new Discovery Park Labyrinth, the Mechanical Waves Mosaic Mural at Discovery Corner, and the pinecone firepit sculpture in the center of the plaza. We’ve also commissioned sidewalk medallions around the plaza that feature all of our Women of Discovery, to further honor their contributions. Other art installations that highlight these trailblazing women include a mural in Discovery Park, and a sculpture on Londonderry Place.
Additionally, we want to recognize the incredible women on our team at Brooks Resources. The majority of our team members are women, and their dedication and hard work are essential in bringing our vision to life every day. A big thank you to all the women who make Brooks Resources, Discovery West, and the world a better place!
