BEAT Children’s Theatre is empowering youth by fostering creativity, collaboration and self confidence while enriching the Central Oregon community. BEAT was founded by Mary Kilpatrick and Howard Schor and has been serving the Central Oregon community since 2006 with classes, mainstage performances and audiences. BEAT enriches and transforms the lives of young people through performing arts by offering fun and instructive programs with a safe and supportive environment and we are proud to support this program.

BEAT provides a variety of performing arts workshops to enhance education and creativity through the main stage program, classes and camps, and in-school workshops.

Main Stage – The program is a 6-8 week workshop that ends with performances in various theaters in Bend.

Classes and Camps – Classes and Camps offers a variety of classes to help the student actor develop in all areas of performing.

In School Workshops – These workshops offer a variety of in school workshops to help student performing arts opportunities.

Past performances have consisted of Legally Blonde, Jr, Stefanie Hero, A Christmas Story, Star Wars Shakespeare Twelfth Night, Game of Tiaras (radio play), and many others.

BEAT continues to enrich the youth of Central Oregon and is supported by sponsors and donations from the community. If you are interested in donating, becoming a sponsor, or being a part of the silent auction, find more information here
