As part of our 50th Anniversary this year, we’ve asked each team member to share some information about themselves so we can learn more about our Brooks team. Let’s get to know a little more about Meghan…

 

Q.What project are you working on right now?

A. Working in the accounting department, we have our hands in everything.

 

Q. What’s an average day for you at the office?

A. Staring at multiple excel spreadsheets and financial statements.

 

Q. What positions have you held at BRC over the years?

A. Controller

 

Q. How many years have you worked at BRC?

A. 4.5 years

 

Q. What project(s) are you most proud of at BRC?

A. Our annual audited financial statements.

 

Q. What else have you done/places you’ve worked during your career?

A. PricewaterhouseCoopers, Pacific Life and James Hardie Building Products.

 

Q. What gets you up in the morning?  What motives you?

A. 5:15am alarm for my carpool to the gym.

A. The Giving Tree

A. My family

About Meghan:

Meghan Hall, Controller

Meghan Hall was born and raised in Bend. She attended the University of Portland where she graduated in August 2003 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a major in Accounting. After attaining her degree, Meghan relocated to Southern California to begin her career. Meghan’s professional background includes five years in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers, one year as a Senior Securities Accounting Analyst for Pacific Life and four and a half years as the Internal Audit Manager for James Hardie Building Products. With thoughts of living closer to family, Meghan and her family returned to Bend in 2014, where she joined Brooks Resources as their Controller. Meghan became a CPA in 2005 and is part of the Leadership Bend class of 2016. Outside of the workplace, Meghan enjoys traveling, enjoying the Central Oregon outdoors and spending time with family.
