Brooks Resources Releases 2010 Calendar

Brooks Resources Corporation today announced that its 2010 wall calendar is now available to the public. The calendar, which has been a Central Oregon community tradition for more than 40 years, features a photo by Loren Irving of the Deschutes River at Ryan Ranch just upstream of Dillon Falls in the Deschutes National Forest. Brooks Resources’ President confirmed to State Board of Higher Education

Governor Kulongoski’s State Board of Higher Education appointment of Bend real estate developer Kirk Schueler was confirmed last week by the Oregon State Senate. Succeeding Board member Howard Sohn of Roseburg, who served from 2004 to 2008, Schueler’s 4-year (plus a partial year) term on the Board began on February 25, 2009 and runs through June 30, 2013. Brooks Resources Announces Release of 2009 Calendar

Brooks Resources Corporation today announced that its annual wall calendar is now available to the public. NorthWest Crossing Building Receives LEED Silver Certification

Bend, Oregon – NorthWest Crossing, an award-winning mixed-use Central Oregon neighborhood, today announced that one of its Neighborhood Center buildings has received its final certification from the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Core and Shell (LEED-CS) Program at the Silver level. NorthWest Crossing Cottage Becomes Part of Housing Works Program

Bend, Oregon – NorthWest Crossing, an award-winning Central Oregon neighborhood, today announced that Housing Works has purchased a cottage for its housing program in Bend. The construction of the home was made possible through a partnership of several local companies. West Bend Property Company, the developer of NorthWest Crossing, donated the homesite.
