We gathered recently to celebrate the retirement of Linda Schmitz, our principal broker, who has been with the company for 16 years. A couple of years ago, we interviewed Linda for our employee spotlight and she gave us a little peek into her daily life and her job. Over the course of her career with us, she served as the homeowner concierge and developer broker for North Rim, as well as serving as the broker for the sales launch of the Tree Farm.
During the many changes in the residential real estate market over the past couple of years, we tapped into Linda’s deep knowledge of the market, as well as trends she was tracking and what to expect next here. While things have changed since we published this, Linda’s feedback on the ongoing popularity of the region, plus the impacts of rising demand are proving themselves to be true. We will miss her thoughtful insights.
A Bendite for more than 30 years, Linda and her husband Mike have recently decided to relocate to Arizona to be closer to family and to give desert living a try. Although we will miss her dearly, we wish her all the best! She says, “I feel great appreciation for each (of my coworkers) and have so enjoyed the friendships, camaraderie and collaboration over the years.” We have too Linda!
