Last month the new 19-member Discovery West Builders Guild and their broker partners gathered to meet each other, learn more about the development plans and timeline, and review Guild procedures and policies. The members of the Guild represent quality builder partners selected by the development team to build the vision of a vibrant and livable community.
A Builders Guild lottery will take place next month for the first phase of homesites in Discovery West. Closings will take place after the roads are paved and the plat is recorded in spring 2020. However, Guild members will be able to proceed with home design and architectural review during the winter, with the goal to have homes under construction and for sale by summer 2020. We look forward to working with these talented builders and their broker partners to create a desirable place for families to live and make memories.
With the final approval of Phase 1 construction by the city earlier this month, we are running full steam ahead, moving dirt and constructing roads and homesites. Bridge construction will commence this winter. We are hopeful for a mild winter from Mother Nature to keep our progress on track. Look for more construction updates as we progress.
