Yarrow today announced that it has selected three builders for its new master-planned community in the rolling hills east of Madras. Each of these builders will purchase and build on roughly 100 lots from the first two phases of the development. In a close competition, the final selections included Sage Builders, Sun Forest and SunWest Builders.
“By selecting these three builders, we are confident that we will be able to begin fulfilling our vision for Yarrow in a timely manner,” said Cameron Craig, project manager for Madras Land Development Company. “With excellent histories building quality houses in the area, we know that they can deliver a product that will help the neighborhood take shape. We look forward to working with them in producing a new level of home in Madras.”
As a Yarrow neighborhood builder, each of the selected companies has committed to a production schedule to meet and respond to market demand. Each builder will follow Yarrow’s design guidelines and create many different floor plans, facades and housing styles, which will ensure architectural variety. By combining homes built by these neighborhood builders with homesite sales to the public, Yarrow is helping to create visibly interesting streetscapes and a sense of community within Yarrow that will endure for years to come.

The new community of Yarrow, situated on 900 acres on the east side of Madras, will be a vibrant collection of neighborhoods incorporating neotraditional design principles.
