Romy Mortensen

Vice President, Sales & Marketing

As VP of Sales & Marketing for Brooks Resources, Romy has decades of experience in residential and commercial real estate including land acquisition and sales, land entitlement, budget development and management, project management, marketing, branding and leasing. Romy led the development as project manager for both North Rim and The Tree Farm, two highly successful residential communities. She has participated as a member of multiple architectural review committees and helped develop governing documents. She has worked with civic and governmental partners on wildfire mitigation and has developed specific wildfire prevention plans and programs for Brooks properties. Romy is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Oregon.

As president of Art in Public Places, Romy works closely with the City of Bend and Bend Park and Recreation District on placing sculptures on public lands throughout Bend. As a board member of the High Desert Museum, Romy serves on the building committee for the current expansion project, and works alongside architects, contractors, and the owner’s rep. She also serves on the Museum’s fire prevention work group, lending expertise gleaned from years of studying wildfire mitigation measures.
