Brooks Resources Corporation today announced that Jade Mayer has been promoted to vice president and Valerie Yost has been promoted to director of marketing.

Jade Mayer joined Brooks Resources in 1999 as corporate controller and was promoted to chief financial officer in 2003. He will continue to serve as CFO along with his new role as vice president. Mayer will now also be responsible for overseeing daily operations, carrying out the strategic plan and assigning responsibilities to company staff. Prior to joining Brooks Resources, Mayer worked as a controller for other companies in Portland and Bend. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Idaho State University. He currently serves as a budget committee member for the City of Bend and on the boards for the Central Oregon Trail Alliance and the Deschutes River Conservancy.

 

Valerie Yost joined the team at Brooks Resource Corporation in 2005 as marketing manager, handling the company’s advertising, digital marketing, events and communications for the last 9 years. In her new role as director of marketing, she will continue to take on a heightened leadership role for the company’s outreach programs. Prior to joining Brooks Resources, Yost was an advertising agency account manager handling accounts in a variety of industries from hospitality and tourism. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, with a marketing emphasis, from Oregon State University and is a board member at the Family Access Network (FAN).
